Interview with Hanna K. Ulatowska, a Holocaust survivor, concerning her experiences as a non-Jewish survivor during the Holocaust. Ulatowska discusses her family background, the German conquest of Poland (1939), life under German occupation, the Warsaw Uprising (1944), her deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, life in the concentration camp, escape from Auschwitz-Birkenau, postwar life in Poland under Russian occupation and communist government, emigration to the United States, and the lasting effects of the Holocaust experience.
